New Documentaries from ArtistsAndMusicians!

ArtistsAndMusicians.org is releasing two documentaries focused on the historic struggle of America's people of color for civil rights: new/updated versions of both Journeys in the Light, Untold Stories of Cape Cod and Icons of the Civil Rights Movement, Past and Present. The latter film describes artist Pamela Chatterton-Purdy's magnificent series by this name. See here for more details!

Pamela Chatterton-Purdy's latest icon (at left) honors the nine African Americans murdered during a prayer service at Mother Emanuel Church, Charleston, SC, on June 17, 2015. 

 

Featured Artist: Shawn Nelson Dahlstrom

Many of us know and admire Cape Cod artist Shawn Nelson Dahlstrom, who has lived and worked here at the Cape since graduating from Boston University in the 70s. Shawn is increasingly recognized as an important painter, following in the path of her teacher Sam Feinstein, who was himself the student of Hans Hoffman.
